Cocoa Butter

Cocoa butter is a pale-yellow, edible fat extracted from the cocoa bean. It is used to make chocolate, as well as some ointments, toiletries, and pharmaceuticals. Cocoa butter has a cocoa flavour and aroma. Its melting point is just below human body temperature and easily becomes soft when in hand.

Description

Cocoa butter has a distinct chocolate flavour,  which is mainly applied in milk chocolate manufacturing.  Commercially an odourless steam‐deodorized grade of cocoa butter is used for the purpose.

It’s a by-product from Cocoa Bean contains a lot of fatty acids.
